Brazilian brand Melissa has made its mark on the ubiquitous plastic jelly shoe over the last 30 years, selling variations on the original design in the most exclusive boutiques around the world and collaborating with luminary designers and architects - Vivienne Westwood and Zaha Hadid amongst others. The company, which aims to manufacture according to high environmental standards, is also renowned in its native Sao Paolo for creating a book on sustainable practices in design – the first of its kind to be published in Brazil.
